Kian Blume's "Parasite" is Synth Pop bliss

Southern California pop singer/songwriter Kian Blume returns with another irresistible offering. Called “Parasite”, the song follows his baroque pop piece “Daphne” shared earlier this year.

“Parasite” is all about that devilishly seductive but unattainable lover. Many of us have been there, where we fall for someone bad for us and with “Parasite” Kian Blume shares this highly relatable narrative. He confides, “I wrote it in an ominous way to show the scary emotions I go through when giving my heart to someone. Being vulnerable is scary and I resonate with that.” The song highlights mood-heavy layered vocals, colliding synths and a sing-a-long worthy chorus for a must listen. Elements of synth pop, electronic and rock combine for a genre-defying musical moment.

Kian Blume, already in his young age is a Billboard-charting songwriter. Teaming up with acclaimed industry veterans Michael Orland of American Idol fame and Miklos Malek (Jennifer Lopez, Anastacia), Kian Blume has just begun his next musical chapter and we can’t wait to hear what is next.
