Jimmy Kimmel prepares for the Emmy's with his daughter

Jimmy Kimmel’s preparation for the Emmy awards is in full swing. The “Jimmy Kimmel Live” host will be hosting the annual award show tonight on ABC.

Today, Kimmel shared an adorable pic of his daughter, Jane, on his Twitter account.

Kimmel captioned the pic:

If we go by his words, the host is preparing to surprise the audience. According to what he told PEOPLE and EW editorial director Jess Cagle, he is not going to spare anyone. His celebrity pals are going to have a good time, it seems.

“The people with whom I’m actually friendly are in the most danger usually because I know they can take a joke,” he said. “That works against them. Being a good sport is the worst thing you can be.”

Emmy’s executive producer Don Mischer told Entertainment Weekly that fans can expect good things from Kimmel’s stint as host at the Emmy’s.

“The host is a critical element, and you want a person up there who wants to be there, feels completely comfortable being there, can roll with the punches and deal with things as they happen on the spur the moment,” Mischer said. “Jimmy is really fast on his feet. He’s very responsive to what’s going on around him.”
