Before joining the entertainment industry, he used to work as a customer excellence trainer at the New Delhi office of American Express, an American multinational corporation that specializes in payment card services.

During this time, to hone his acting skills, he used to act in several plays and theatre shows at the Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts in New Delhi which is home to a repertory theatre company and also hosts dance/music performances.

He had once been rejected from a TV show just because the showrunners were not happy with his kundali (horoscope) and date of birth. They had asked him to attend an audition after which he was not called back. He had tried to get back in touch with them and it was then that they had asked him to submit his kundali after which he was rejected.

In May 2017, he had been featured in an Indonesian TV series called Cinta Di Pangkuan Himalaya. For the filming of his part, he had stayed in Indonesia for about 6 months and had learned how to speak Bahasa, the official language of Indonesia.
